Dr. Dionne

Dr. Dionne was born in Portland, Oregon, and moved to Tecumseh shortly thereafter. Given that her father is an orthodontist (Dr. Dennis Dionne), she was surrounded by dentistry from an early age. She attended École secondaire l’Essor, where she became fluent in French, followed by a year at Neuchâtel Junior College in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

Following this, she went on to obtain an honours Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Science (Neuroscience & Psychology) from the University of Guelph. She then attended dental school at Trinity College Dublin, where she graduated with honours. During her time there, she was elected class representative and was also elected as President of the Dental Society. Following graduation, she earned a Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, and has completed continuing education courses at the Pankey Institute. She is registered with the Irish Dental Council and with the RDCSO, and has passed her INBDE US board exams.

Dr. Dionne remained in Dublin for a few years following graduation, working both in general family practices as well as in an exclusively paediatric and orthodontic practice under the supervision of a specialist Paediatric Dentist.

Dr. Dionne is a family-focused, patient-first dentist who believes dental care should be comfortable, personalized, and even enjoyable. She especially enjoys working with children and patients who experience anxiety, taking the time to create a calm, welcoming environment built on trust and empathy. She is proud to offer care in both English and French. Her goal is for every patient to leave feeling heard, cared for, and confident in their smile.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, sea swimming (though now that she's home, it will be lake swimming!), hiking, trying new recipes, and pub trivia nights. She can’t wait to re-explore her hometown after so many years away and is delighted to be back.
